Living with lupus is a daily journey—some days, it’s a quiet whisper; other days, it’s a storm. When I was first diagnosed, I felt like I lost control of my body and routines. My pain came with unpredictability, making even small tasks feel overwhelming. But something unexpected brought me peace—crafting.
I didn’t start crafting with a goal in mind. It began with simple moments—cutting paper, gluing pages, sketching Scripture art in a journal. But soon I realized it wasn’t just a hobby—it was healing.
Creating with my hands helped distract me from pain, focus my mind, and reconnect with joy. Each notebook I stitched or Scripture I wrote reminded me: I still had purpose.
