There is something truly special about creating something with your own hands or capturing a moment that will last forever. That's why I started InkedViews Photography and Designs—to combine my love for photography, creativity, and handcrafted art into a business that brings joy to others.

Whether it's a beautiful photograph, a handmade greeting card, a custom journal, a bookmark, or a one-of-a-kind gift, every piece I create is made with care, creativity, and purpose. While owning a small creative business is incredibly rewarding, it also comes with challenges that many people don't see.

One of my favorite things about handmade crafting is that no two creations are exactly alike. Every journal, greeting card, bookmark, decorated notebook, or keepsake has its own personality.

Every cut, fold, embellishment, and design reflects hours of creativity and attention to detail.

• Freedom to Be Creative

Owning my own business gives me the freedom to explore new ideas, experiment with different techniques, and create products that inspire others.

Some days I'm behind the camera capturing beautiful images.

Other days I'm designing greeting cards, decorating journals, creating mixed-media art, or preparing products for craft fairs and community events.

Every day is different, and that's one of the things I love most.

Photography and craft shows have introduced me to amazing people from all walks of life.

There are busy seasons when orders seem to come in every day.

Then there are slower seasons that test your patience and perseverance.

I've learned that slow periods are opportunities to create new products, improve my skills, organize inventory, and prepare for the next busy season.

One of the hardest parts of owning a creative business is setting prices.

Customers often see the finished product but may not realize they're paying for years of experience, creativity, quality materials, and the time invested in making something by hand.

Handmade isn't just a product—it's craftsmanship.

I'm the photographer.

And sometimes the shipping department too!

This journey has taught me patience.
